Other than that I guess it could be the driver I'm using (331.82) but as there isn't any other people complaining about it I don't think it is the cause of the problem. I'll add the video quality parts in a spoiler box: I wonder if there is something configured wrong in my user.pso file as I never did configure the game through the official launcher on this reinstall to avoid having the english patch being messed with. Yeah, I've tried Rhino's setting in fullscreen (1680*1050) and the advanced setting on all screen modes on 1680*1050 (tried once on 2520*1575 fullscreen). This is the exact same setup as the one on the first post, plus HBAO option available on RadeonPro at Ultra.ĭo you have it when using Rhino's AA setting, or Lavandy's Advanced setting? I tried shutting off number of different things.and found myself facing a surprising conclusion - switching the launcher program from tweaker to pso launcher fixed it for me.along with keeping chrome turned off when pso2 boots up. Enable the FPS counter in RadeonPro as a fast way to see if it works when you start the game. It's a big hassle, but typically it will keep working until a reboot. (Just be sure you know what you're doing.) Sometimes I had to close RadeonPro, kill and stop the service, start the service, then start RadeonPro to get it to start if it didn't go after clearing a bunch of stuff. You can start killing 3rd party services and processes until it works via the process explorer, and eventually you'll get it to hook. Gameguard is just very picky, and seems to block it on various systems due to unknown conflicts.

However I got this question o: Is it possible to get that crazy look without having NVIDIA or AMD gpus? like just using normal and cheap Intel drivers (my pc doesnt have any nvidia thingy) :c Looks freaking amazing! Looks really close to what AIDA posted. I might give it another shot tomorrow, but I likely won't have time. When leaving the lobby, it looks like it applies the ambient occlusion then shifts it down to the left and mirrors it. The flag with the 4 completely breaks if you leave the lobby as well (as if it wasn't broken enough in the lobby). Also, 0x00000682 crashes if you leave the lobby, so that one isn't worth trying.

This further goes to show how terrible the engine for PSO2 is. Also, I found out that 0x00000400 is all it takes to get the AO in the screenshot above.

Update 2: I have been testing them for 2 or 3 hours now, and nothing fully works. I found another one that has less issues, but still not perfect. This isn't perfect (it has some weird grid-like artifact), but at this rate, I'll have a great profile done tonight! :D The bit in the image is 0x00000482.Įdit: And yes, I'm still a noob in this game :p It isn't one of my main games haha. I now have proof that good dark HBAO+ is possible in PSO2. Well, this is going MUCH smoother than I expected.
